Julia  OBrien

Julia O'Brien has been a professional illustrator since 2022, working with organizations such as The American Medical Association, Sixty Inches from Center, and Southside Weekly.

She began making murals in 2019 and completed an internship with Streetwise Arts nonprofit in 2025. 

At the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Julia studied visual storytelling and psychology for arts therapy. She applies these skills as an instructor and a self-publishing comics author. 

Julia's expertise in art and design is prevalent in her use of color theory, layout composition, and creative thinking.
